On 3 August 2023, the ground-breaking ceremony for the new production facility opened up a broader design field and paved the way for our expansion course. At the Luckenwalde Biotechnology Park, a new production area is being built for 8.5 million euros, which will double our capacity.
At an event in which the plans for the new production facility are presented, the ground-breaking ceremony is held and a BBQ is celebrated, we confirm the strength of Brandenburg and the Teltow-Fläming district as a centre of business and innovation.
With its innovative manufacturing processes, Chiracon GmbH is an important manufacturer and developer of active pharmaceutical ingredients and offers its international customers a wide range of products and services relating to intermediate and end products in the pharmaceutical sector.
Thanks to its innovative spirit and proximity to Berlin, the company is attractive for qualified employees, i.e. engineers and scientists, and trains its own laboratory technicians. The new building will also enable Chiracon to expand its team and fulfil its goals of producing its own medicines through its newly founded Chiracon Pharma.
The project was made possible through cooperation with a large number of partners/supporters, in particular the Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB), the Ministries of Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy, and Agriculture, Environment and Climate Protection of the federal state of Brandenburg and their Ministers Prof. Dr. Jörg Steinbach and Axel Vogel, the District Administrator of the Teltow-Fläming district, Ms Kornelia Wehlan, the Mayor of Luckenwalde, Ms Elisabeth Herzog-von der Heide, the construction project manager and architect, Mr Jörg-Thomas Vogt, the Bürgschaftsbank Brandenburg and the Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft, in particular Dr Miloš Stefanović and Ms Anke Burkantat, as well as Mr Martin Dolling and Ms Ramona Schaarschmidt of Dolling + Partners New Consulting GmbH, and many other partners and supporters.
